My Current Go To Foundation and Concealer

There are so many makeup products out there, so finding a select few that work for you is hard. There are an endless amount of makeup companies and brands and sifting through hundreds of similar products to find one that is perfect for you takes time. So here are two of my go to face products that can hopefully make your job of finding a fantastic face product a little bit easier.

My Skin Type:
Normal to Oily (T-Zone can tend to get oily throughout the day)
Very Pale
Cool/Neutral Undertone

Foundation

Foundation although a part of my makeup routine isn't for everyone, but the 'L'Oreal True Match' is a fantastic light weight foundation that I think is a must have for everyone's makeup kit. As described on the packaging the foundation is "super-blendable" and "perfectly matches skin colour and texture" and I would agree that because this foundation has a range of 21 shades it has a colour that matches a wide variety of skin tones. (Something that is very important to me as I have very pale skin and struggle to find a foundation that matches) Even this foundation is probably a shade darker than I'd like but it is the lightest of all drugstore foundations I have been able to find and looks very natural if well blended. I do believe they have also released a further 3 shades recently so hopefully there is an even lighter one. I also like that they have divided the range into cool, neutral and warm tones, making it even easier to find your perfect match. I also think the texture is very natural if you blend well, and the coverage is very buildable. For a more natural look I like to use it with a damp sponge and for a party or night out I use a buffing brush to build up a fuller coverage.
Overall this foundation is a great drugstore find and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, lightweight base that is ideal for a natural or going out look.

Concealer

Concealer I have to say, is one of my must haves. I love concealer as it is great for just touching up little areas of skin which are problematic or dark circles which you want to hide. Personally I've struggled for a while to find a concealer that perfectly matches my skin as I am very very pale. The 'Collection Lasting Perfection' concealer is a well known drugstore favourite that is affordable and a great consistency but I find even that has an orangey tinge on my skin, especially after it oxidizes. So after searching high and low, I decided to splurge on the NARS 'Radiant Creamy Concealer' and although it is quite pricey the lightest shade is a perfect match for my skin tone and looks incredible. It is super easy to blend, doesn't crease, lasts for hours (especially if you set it properly) and the packaging is beautiful. The only thing that I wish they would improve is the amount you get for your money, I feel as if the 0.22 Oz don't go very far for the price, but I guess the fact it is a higher end, more luxury product the price is obviously going to reflect that.
Overall this is an amazing concealer and I am willing to fork out the extra money for it as it matches my skin tone perfectly and is one of the best concealers I have tried, so if you have very pale skin I would highly recommend you give this concealer a go.
